Testimonials from our Foundation Dentists:
Leven vale was a great place to work, mainly due to the brilliant staff & colleagues who have been able to motivate me. The practice facilities are excellent and patients are very appreciative of the dental care they receive. The nursing and reception staff at the practice have always been very welcoming & supportive as well. Leven vale has a very good reputation in the local community and has been reviewed highly across NHS choices and other online platforms.
Thanks to my easy to get along trainer Dr kareem siddiqui, I have thoroughly enjoyed my dental foundation year. He is a great mentor who is always eager to share his wealth of clinical experience in general & cosmetic dentistry.
The social side of Yarm is fun too. It has some great restaurants and pubs around besides being famous for its heritage & character. I liked this place so much that I decided to stay back in Teesside!

My foundation year at Leven Vale has been a brilliant start to my career. As an educational supervisor Kareem has always been approachable, enthusiastic and keen to share his knowledge. I was made to feel welcome from the very outset, and was constantly encouraged to enhance my clinical skills in general dentistry as well as pursue learning in other fields of special interest.
The practice has spacious surgeries and advanced equipment. I have been privileged enough to have use of these, as well as be involved with several cosmetic dentistry and in-surgery teeth whitening cases. The whole team are highly skilled, friendly and always supportive. I couldn’t have asked to join a better practice for the dental foundation training programme.
Miss Aalia Vania – Foundation Dentist 2015/16 at Leven Vale Dental Practice
I was privileged to be able to begin the start of my journey career in dentistry as an Foundation dentist at Leven Vale Dental Practice in 2014 with Mr Kareem Siddiqui as a trainer. He has a vast amount of experience having worked in clinical attachments in maxillo-facial surgery units abroad and across the UK and is a very skilled general dentist who is always keen on further learning.
He is keen to share his knowledge and is a great trainer who is very approachable and always willing to help. At Leven Vale, I have experienced a wide range of experiences in general dentistry, from simple fillings to endodontics, onlays and crowns. I have also had the opportunity to become involved in appreciating how cosmetic dentistry such as whitening of the teeth and smile makeovers can make a vast difference in the confidence of the patient.
The FD surgery is very well equipped and very spacious. All the staff are very friendly and easy to get along with, and being a small practice there will be no trouble fitting in.
